Went to Ayabie's live yesterday at the Tivoli.
The band was good. It's very cute to see them interact with each other and with the audience. When they just started, only Aoi (vocals) was very active, but after a while, Intetsu (bass), Takehito (guitar) and Yumehito (guitar) were following Aoi's lead. Takehito was more subdued, but that's okay. We forgive him because he seemed to be enjoying himself regardless :p.
I always feel sorry for drummers because they are walled in behind their drums, but there was a drum solo from Kenzo while the rest of the band changed clothes. He made the audience yell and clap during this and it was very entertaining. He's got the hang of being a showman!
Lessee, music wise! I heard Virgin Snow Color before I went to the concert, but I wasn't very much blown away by it. It wasn't really to my taste. But they were much better live.
Lessee, observations:
- There was a decent enough crowd to fill 6 to 7 seven rows in the room
- I really liked Kenzo's drumsolo ^^
- The whole deal of calling for an encore was abysmal. People didn't put a lot of energy in calling for an encore :(. As Simone Manita put it: 'I'd quit as a band if my audience was that mellow ToT/!'
- It was supercute when Aoi tried to speak Dutch (I'm betting he had a cheatsheet stickytacked to the floor :p)
- Aoi likes to make people jump... I can imagine him being a fitness instructor... o_o;
- The bandmember introduction was fun. They kept saying 'I love you' to each other and the audience XD
- Kenzo: Hello!
Audience: HELLO!!!!!
Kenzo: ... HELLO!
Audience: HEEEELLLOOOOOO!!!!!!
Kenzo: ... Uhm, hi :3.

Went to Calmando Qual last Friday with Tris and I had a lot of fun.
The Pussybats opened for Calmando Qual and they were quite entertaining for an opening band (better than Limbogot who opened for Déspairs Ray ¬_¬/). The singer reminded Tris of the singer of HIM. I wouldn't know as I don't listen to HIM often :p.
Calmando Qual was really fun to see live, there was a lot of interaction with the audience (Kenka and Tak both let the audience play with their bass and guitar respectively). Hibiki made many silly faces XD;. They were also pretty energetic (as in, they kept walking here and there and ran all over the place XD). I stood in the center, a bit in the back (there weren't a lot of people) so I had a good enough view of everything and could hear it all pretty well. I'm not sure what songs they played as I don't know their entire discography o.o;\.
They played hedonism at the encore though, so I'm a pretty happy camper :3. They also did this silly 'HEEEEEEEY~OOOOOOH!' thing with audience XD. That was very funny as Hibiki walked to everyone of the band and tried to make them do it too (only Kenka seemed to be really into it, the others were a bit shy it seems °o°/...).
Afterwards, there was a signing session ^-^/! I got two cd's signed by Calmanodo Qual 8D! Too bad they didn't have any shirts of them o_o\. I would've liked one :x. But at least I got to tell them I liked their performance, so it's okay :). They all looked rather tired though o_o;\. I hope they got enough sleep afterwards X_x;;;.
I also got a poster of The Pussybats signed XD! Tris helped me as I was too chicken to ask 8D;;; (The Pussybats look more intimidating than Calmando Qual o_o;\...). So yay for free signed stuff! 8D!
Anyway, some observations and random actions by moi:
- Saw this tall goth dude walk around with a camera. And by 'tall' I do mean 'TALL' O_o;\... I told him his hair was cool (cuz it wuz! OoO/!!!).
- Saw this rather short girl walk around at the concert. I felt bad for her as she seemed to be unable to see the band :(.
- Tak kept on trying to creep to the back of the stage O_o\.
- Hibiki made silly faces and looked like he was about to flip... scary :o...
- Tasc radiated silly. I don't know why I perceived it as that, but I did °-°\...
- Sio was... barricaded behind the drums... a fate awaiting all drummers :(
- Kenka was an attention whore 8D! But in a good way! XDDD
- There weren't a lot of people attending :o. That surprised me as I had thought there would've been more people :o!
- On the way back we tried to find a different bus stop, but we heard from a local the stop was removed a week prior... ¬_¬;. Never listening to certain people again -_-;...
- We also had a guy from Hong Kong tag along with us to the station XD! I thought at first that he worked for some magazine as he asked some questions on the band. Turned out however that the poor man missed the show because of work or something :(. So he wanted to hear how it was :(.
- Eating at BK twice is bad for you 8D!
- I did not get sick or anything, I just was tired and home late :p.
- Someone fainted at the end of the show :o... Low bloodpressure :x.
Some gripes:
- Asked a lot of people to come, but the only one who actually had time was Tris, whom I had asked only a week before o_o\...
- No shirts of Calmando Qual OxO\...
- People who cut in line ~_~\...
- Didn't catch any picks XD;;;...

Now, before you go and go on a pic acquiring spree, promise to ask for permission from Am and me and to credit us if you want to use them... Do you have any idea how hard it was to stay at the front row with all those crazy fans clawing their way to the front, while you try to take pictures? :p (Well, they weren't really that crazy :p... just soaked by rainwater XD) So yeah... Now, without further ado, I give you a link to Am's photobucket upload :p... I'll upload them to mmy own once I get back home o_o/. Enjoy my photographing skillz on a crappy one-use camera and Am's uber1337 scanning and editing skillz! We only put up the interesting ones :p.
